Our client is a private hospital in Abu dhobi that can accommodate patients with a wide range of individual health requirements. The hospital is Abu Dhabi’s premier private healthcare facility providing world-class, dedicated and exceptional healthcare.

Currently, the hospital is associated with some of the world’s best healthcare institutions for its centers of excellence and is now becoming a renowned center of referral for Cardiovascular, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine and many more specialties handling complicated laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries.

JOB DESCRIPTION

There are currently various nursing positions –

Provides direct patient care developing the nursing process within established hospital, divisional and unit specific policies and procedures, standards, protocol.
Establishes priorities of care, nursing actions and desired out come in clinical care for all patients.
Perform nursing duties within medical scope of practice and professional code of conduct as directed by Nursing administration, HAAD PQR and UAE Nursing forms.
Demonstrates knowledge and clinical assessment skills appropriate to their clinical area and performs their role according to competency frameworks and professional knowledge and experience.
Takes direct and applicable action in urgent and emergency situations and displays aptitude for decision-making and leadership.
Documents all assessments, interventions and other necessary information in the patients medical record according to hospital policy and national and international standards of documentation.
Promotes continuity of patient care through oral and written communication to the multidisciplinary team according to the needs of the patient.
Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills when interacting with patients/families, other health care team members and staff of other departments.
Demonstrates high level of infection prevention and knowledge and actions in clinical area and reports any issue according to hospital policy and Infection control framework.
HAAD reporting of infectious diseases and CDC guidelines.

Specialised Skills/Abilities/Experience:

REQUIREMENTS

Completion of a relevant recognised higher professional education program
Certification of higher professional education recognised by Abu Dhabi Health Authority (HAAD):
Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of nursing
Generic Skills/Abilities/Experience:
Minimum of two to five years relevant experience since gaining higher qualification preferred.
Two/ Three years nursing experience in a hospital setting.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes
Fluency in written and spoken English (Arabic language skills are well regarded)
High level of verbal and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal and organizational skills Good computer literacy

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience at an Consultant level, and in an appropriate field, since gaining higher qualification.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education.
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes
Fluency in written and spoken English (Arabic language skills are well regarded)
High level of verbal and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal and organisational skills
Strong computer literacy
Publications in peer reviewed journals are an added advantage.
