Our client is one of the largest private providers of comprehensive healthcare services in the MENA; as it is currently operating 14 Medical Facilities across Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain, including 7 Hospitals and 6 Medical Centers and developing one of the largest private medical cities in Saudi Arabia.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Consultant Ophthalmologist will –

• Provide a high standard of Medical Consultations and Physical Examinations
• Examining and assessing patient care
• Constantly refining patient based care on continuous self-evaluation and lifelong learning.
• Participating on on-call coverage as per the department guidelines
• Maintaining the uppermost professional standard of certification and care in line with policies and procedures followed in compliance with JCI.
• Attending Clinical Audit/Medical Audits in the department

REQUIREMENTS

Must have successfully completed a qualification of Bachelor of Science of Medicine from a reputable Medical school.
Medical Degree recognised by Dubai Healthcare City
Completion of a relevant recognised higher professional education program
Certification of higher professional education recognised by the Dubai Healthcare City: CCST, or MRCP, or American Board Certification, or Canadian Board Certification, Facharzt or Equivalent recognised by the Dubai Healthcare City.

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience at an appropriate level, and in an appropriate field, since gaining higher qualification.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education.
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes
Fluency in written and spoken English (Arabic language skills are well regarded)
High level of verbal and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal and organisational skills
Strong computer literacy
Publications in peer reviewed journals are an added advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
