Our client is one of the largest private providers of comprehensive healthcare services in the MENA; as it is currently operating 14 Medical Facilities across Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain, including 7 Hospitals and 6 Medical Centers and developing one of the largest private medical cities in Saudi Arabia.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Consultant Radiologist will be required to provide specialised Radiology care to hospital patients according to current best-evidence based standards and in accordance with hospital Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations.
The Consultant Radiologist will also –
• Develop and deliver radiology services including plain radiography, Ultrasound and Ultrasound guided interventional radiology procedures for the patient groups
• Develop and advise on more complicated radiology paths for individual patients in union with clinical referrers as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Diagnose and treat patients according to established standards of best practice for the post holder
speciality
• Supervise the activities of the junior medical staff and accept accountability for the care they provide
• Observe with all established practices regarding consultations, patient care, discharge protocols, outpatient and follow up practices
• Regularly review results of all examinations and adapt treatment as required
• Regularly review patients
medical records updating them when necessary
• Liaise with other medical specialities and support services for supplementary participation as required
REQUIREMENTS
Must have successfully completed a qualification of Bachelor of Science of Medicine from a reputable Medical school.
Medical Degree recognised by Dubai Healthcare City
Completion of a relevant recognised higher professional education program
Certification of higher professional education recognised by the Dubai Healthcare City: CCST, or MRCP, or American Board Certification, or Canadian Board Certification or Equivalent recognised by the Dubai Healthcare City.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience at an appropriate level, and in an appropriate field, since gaining higher qualification.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education.
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes
Fluency in written and spoken English (Arabic language skills are well regarded)
High level of verbal and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal and organisational skills
Strong computer literacy
Publications in peer reviewed journals are an added advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
